WPL Auction:-In an exciting turn of events, Gujarat Giants’ winning bid of ₹2 crores was secured by Punjab’s fast bowler Kashvi Gautam at the December 9th IPL auction in Mumbai.
Kashvi’s basic price was ₹10 lakhs at the age of just 20. Before Kashvi was able to sign with an IPL team for the second season, she was up for bid by the Gujarat Giants and the UP Warriors.
The 22-year-old Karnataka batswoman Vrinda Dinesh was the target of a massive bid of ₹1.3 crores made by the UP Warriors, in another noteworthy move for an uncapped Indian cricket player. This demonstrates the increasing tendency of young athletes receiving significant opportunities to establish themselves in the professional game.

The Gujarat Giants released 22-year-old Sutherland during the IPL’s debut tournament in March of this year. She finally came back to the Capitals, despite being originally enticed by the Mumbai Indians.
